Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what you agree to

These Terms are the agreement between you and Cogito Mutual Pte. Ltd. ("PadelHero", "we" or "us"). You agree to them when you create an account, or, if you already had one before these Terms existed, on the acceptance screen the app shows you. Whichever brand host you use, including Saigon Padel League, you are contracting with PadelHero. The league or event you play in runs on the Platform; it does not change who runs the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to hold an account. If you are 13 to 15, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms for you and manage the account on your behalf. We do not allow accounts for anyone under 13, and we delete an account if we learn it belongs to a child under 13. You may hold one account, under your own name. You are responsible for everything that happens under your login, so keep your password to yourself.

3. The Platform

PadelHero (the "Platform") is the website at padelhero.app and its branded hosts, the mobile apps, and any other service we provide under the PadelHero name. It administers padel leagues, tournaments and social events: results, standings, ratings and levels, player profiles, match video and statistics, coaching records and notifications. Most of what you see is run by an Organizer - the league, tournament or event administrator who sets the schedule, the fees and the rules of play. The Platform records what an Organizer runs and reports; a disagreement about a result, a fee or a ruling on court is between you and the Organizer, not with us.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, video, text and other material you upload or link ("Content"). By uploading Content you grant PadelHero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, copy, adapt, caption, combine it with other Content and publish it in order to run, improve and promote the Platform and the leagues it serves. If a piece of Content has already been shown to other people, or built into a reel, clip or share card, that licence continues even after you delete your account, so that what was already shared stays intact; for everything else the licence ends when you delete the Content or your account. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that anyone recognisable in a photo or video agreed to be filmed or photographed at a padel venue. We credit you where we reasonably can. Where the law lets you waive moral rights in your Content, you do so; where it does not, you consent to the uses this licence describes.

5. Platform content and intellectual property

Ratings, levels, rankings, standings, statistics, insights and other data we derive, the match reels and clips we produce, share cards, our software, and the models we train and their outputs, all belong to PadelHero. Using the app gives you a personal licence to use them inside the app and to share what the app offers to share - nothing more. You may not scrape the Platform, export it in bulk, resell what you find on it, or train your own models on it.

6. Recording at venues

Play at a league or event is often recorded, by cameras and photographers the Organizer, the venue where you play (a "Venue") or we arrange. Footage of competition play is published to the audience the Organizer chooses, at the visibility level shown on the item. If a clip shows you and you want it taken down, ask us; we act within 10 working days and tell you what we did.

7. Improving the platform with your data

We use match footage, results, statistics and gameplay data to train and evaluate the models that produce stats, clips and insights, and to improve our rating algorithms.

8. Acceptable use

Do not cheat on results, impersonate someone else, harass another player, upload someone else's private data without their agreement, access the Platform through automated means other than the documented API and MCP tools with your own credentials, or probe our systems for security holes. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. An Organizer can remove a player from their own league under their own rules.

9. Organizers and clubs

If you administer a league, tournament, club or event on the Platform, you also accept the Partner Data Terms for that role, in addition to these Terms.

10. Fees

Using the Platform is free today. We may introduce charges for some features, plans or services in future; where we do, the price and what it covers are shown before you commit, and we tell you about changes to charges before they apply to you.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account. We can end this agreement by telling you, or immediately if you break these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 12 and 14 survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided as is. Ratings, levels and statistics are estimates. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the Platform, and our total liability to you is limited to SGD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes

We may change these Terms. We tell you about changes in the app or by email, and continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means accepting the new version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

14. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

15. Notices and takedown

If you believe something on the Platform infringes your copyright or shows your image without a right to do so, email privacy@padelhero.app with a link to the item, what you own, and what you want done. We remove or restrict access within 10 working days, tell whoever uploaded it, and restore it on a valid counter-notice.
